Sustainable Bear was inspired by children—and created to help every child become part of a more sustainable future.

In 2024, a small group of pupils were exploring more sustainable products for their school washrooms. While comparing how the different products felt, one child decided that his teddy bear should join in too. He carefully folded some toilet tissue, placed it in his teddy’s paws and proudly showed his teacher. The verdict was clear: “Teddy Loves It!”

That special moment inspired Sustainable Bear—the friendly learning companion who helps children as they explore sustainability, understand the difference their choices can make and turn what they learn into positive everyday habits.
